In a remarkable display of recognition and achievement, Puerto Rico has been designated as the guest country at the prestigious 43rd edition of the ANATO Showcase, Latin America and the Caribbean's foremost tourism fair. This distinction marks a pivotal moment for Puerto Rico's tourism industry, heralding its emergence as a premier destination on the global stage.
Mr. Raul Bustamante, esteemed board member of the Puerto Rico Tourism Campaign, board member of Discover Puerto Rico and distinguished General Manager of The Royal Sonesta San Juan, eloquently articulated the significance of this momentous occasion. He emphasized, "The participation of Puerto Rico as the guest country at the 43rd edition of the Anato Showcase is highly significant, being the most relevant tourism fair in Latin America and the Caribbean."

"On March 25th, I will mark 35 years since my arrival in Puerto Rico, and today, as the General Manager of The Royal Sonesta San Juan and board member of the Puerto Rico Tourism Campaign and of Discover Puerto Rico, I am grateful to Puerto Rico and satisfied to have had the opportunity to work tirelessly over the years in support of Puerto Rico's tourism," he expressed with gratitude.

The ANATO Showcase, held from February 28th to March 1st at Corferias, Bogotá, serves as a platform for promoting tourism and fostering business opportunities in the region. With an expected attendance of 50,000 professionals engaging in approximately 15,000 business meetings, the event provides an unparalleled opportunity for networking and collaboration.
